Associate Director, Corporate Development

The Director, Corporate Development will be responsible for originating and nurturing long term relationships with two key segments: (i) Large corporate entities that own discreet software businesses, and (ii) business intermediaries (i.e. brokers, advisors) that represent software companies.

The role will report directly to the VP, Corporate Development.

The role will initially be supported by one additional person to support in research and contacting prospects.

The role’s success will be defined by making and maintaining connections, and engaging in meaningful dialogue with representatives of large Corporations and business intermediaries which will ultimately lead to an acquisition of their business.

This is a hand on role with a long term orientation.

The introduction, maintaining relationships, and ultimately being considered for an acquisition by Constellation may take years.

Continuous value-add in conversations and interactions is what allows successful acquisitions to come to fruition.
