Role Overview
DBS is hiring an Associate Data Analyst / Business Analyst in its Hyderabad Data Chapter.
The role supports analytics interventions for the Consumer Banking Group through a techno-functional data team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and objectives clearly.
- Handle ad hoc requests, provide impactful insights, and present findings effectively.
- Develop Qlik Sense dashboards.
- Examine issues and errors to improve platform stability.
- Support end-to-end business initiatives that drive outcomes and performance.
- Perform data extraction and investigation.
- Streamline processes to improve productivity and reduce employee toil.
- Contribute to strategic planning and the roadmap for data science initiatives.
- Interact with customers regularly and work both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in data and business analytics.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Knowledge of business intelligence and analytical tools such as QlikView or Qlik Sense.
- Knowledge of data architecture and Amazon S3.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills with clear communication.
- Strong results orientation, analytical mindset, and innovative thinking.
