Job Purpose

  • The Associate – Corporate Communications supports the planning and execution of internal and external communications initiatives that strengthen the company's reputation, engage employees, and enhance brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of press releases, media alerts, statements, and corporate announcements
  • Assist in coordinating media interviews, events, and press conferences
  • Maintain and update media lists and journalist databases
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare regular coverage reports and communication summaries
  • Support reputation management and assist with media inquiries
  • Create engaging content for internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, digital screens, and employee emails
  • Support company wide campaigns, town halls, leadership communications, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate communication calendars and ensure timely delivery of internal messages
  • Support the creation of corporate social media content, primarily for LinkedIn and other corporate channels
  • Coordinate with designers and stakeholders to develop communication assets
  • Monitor content performance and prepare basic analytics reports
  • Draft articles, announcements, speeches, presentations, and communication materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or Internal Communications
  • Experience in a multinational organization or agency is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Good understanding of media relations and corporate communications
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Proficiency in Canva for creating communication materials, presentations, social media assets, and internal communication visuals
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and communication analytics
