The Job in a Nutshell

Test Automation

• Develop backend API, contract, service-level, integration, and data setup testing.
• Build web end-to-end and component coverage with Playwright, including visual and RTL regression.
• Build mobile coverage with Appium or Maestro, including device farms, offline behavior, synchronization, and payment peripherals.
• Create shared fixtures, test-data management, parallel execution, and meaningful CI pipelines.
• Include performance and load testing in the quality approach.

AI Quality Systems

• Generate and maintain tests from specifications, code, and production traffic.
• Build failure triage that distinguishes bugs, flakes, environments, and test rot.
• Develop self-healing locators, flake detection, quarantine, and coverage-gap analysis.
• Build evaluation infrastructure using datasets, scoring, and regression detection.
• Evaluate Arabic and English behavior, RTL interfaces, and region-specific POS, tax, and payment rules.

Agentic AI and Orchestration

• Build agents that read diffs, run relevant suites, reproduce failures, propose fixes, and open pull requests.
• Develop end-to-end quality workflows for exploratory testing, coverage-gap analysis, and release-risk assessment.
• Design orchestration with planning, tool use, retries, state, memory, sandboxed execution, and multi-agent handoffs.
• Integrate with CI, Jira, observability, and MCP-style tool interfaces.

Technical Ground

• Use modern test automation practices, including framework design, test layering, parallel execution, mobile and cross-browser testing, and CI/CD gating.
• Apply agentic AI orchestration, context engineering, retrieval, reranking, caching, and long-context management.
• Build offline and online evaluations using LLM-as-judge, human review, statistical analysis, and CI regression gates.
• Apply structured output, guardrails, fallback and retry design, observability, prompt versioning, model routing, and cost controls.

What We Are Looking For

• Production software experience with recent hands-on work on LLM-backed systems used by real users.
• Strong Python and comfort with at least one of .NET, Java, or TypeScript.
• Automation ownership across backend and web or mobile surfaces.
• Experience building evaluation systems and measuring improvement with numbers.
• Practical knowledge of prompting, structured output, tool use, retrieval, and agentic AI orchestration.
• Testing fundamentals covering test design, automation frameworks, and CI/CD.
• A focus on adoption and building tools used by other engineers.
