**Job Role**: The Assistant Waiter / Food Runner supports the main waiters and kitchen team by delivering food and drinks to the correct tables quickly and carefully.
This role helps make sure that every guest has a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is hardworking, friendly, and able to work well in a busy restaurant environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
1.
Carry food and drinks from the kitchen to the correct table as directed by the head waiter or supervisor.
2.
Make sure all food orders are complete and presented correctly before they leave the kitchen.
3.
Keep tables clean by removing used plates, glasses, and cutlery during and after each meal.
4.
Refill water glasses and bread baskets for guests as needed throughout the meal.
5.
Assist the main waiter in setting up tables before service, including placing cutlery, napkins, and condiments.
6.
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and waiters to make sure food reaches guests while it is still hot.
7.
Follow all health, hygiene, and food safety rules as required by the restaurant and Saudi regulations.
Qualifications
8.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is an advantage but not required.
9.
Ability to speak and understand basic English and/or Arabic to communicate with the team and guests.
10.
Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, and carry trays for long periods during a shift; must hold a valid Saudi Iqama or be eligible to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
