The Assistant Sales Manager generates and manages group sales while delivering memorable hospitality experiences.
The role focuses on new business development, client relationships, hotel revenue growth, and booking coordination.
Responsibilities
- Research, prospect, and qualify leads through proactive outreach and database mining.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments and develop existing and new accounts.
- Analyze hotel and market trends to create targeted sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
- Prepare proposals, conduct site visits, negotiate terms, and secure client contracts.
- Coordinate room, food and beverage, and meeting-space requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely account and reservation information in the hotel sales management system.
