About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager - Leisure to achieve hotel targets by optimizing revenues through an assigned account base and prospecting new clients. The role requires 3-5 years of sales and marketing experience, fluency in English, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities
- Attend internal Meetings, Client Appointments, and Client Events in the absence of Director of Sales
- Responsible for key account management on assigned account base, ensuring revenue maximization and achievement of personal targets
- Responsible for prospecting new accounts
- Responsible for all segments of assigned geographical markets, which may include European markets
- Conduct site inspections
- Adhere to Corporate SOPs
- Follow up on tentative bookings in assigned markets
- Maintain detailed knowledge of competitor set and hotel services
- Responsible for timely contracting from client base
- Attend trade shows, sales blitz, workshops in assigned markets
- Assist Director of Sales in defining annual sales action plan and budget preparation
- Document all sales actions in SFA (S&C) and update OPERA contact database
Requirements
- 3 5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing
- Fluency in English Written and Spoken
- Additional languages is a strong asset
- Excellent organisational skills
- Intermediate IT skills in Excel and Word
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Description
- Responsible for achieving hotel targets by optimizing revenues through an assigned account base, as well as prospecting new clients in assigned markets. The key measurement of performance will be performance versus the Revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend internal Meetings and Conference Calls, Client Appointments, and Client Events in the absence primarily of the Director of Sales but also the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Responsible for key account management on an assigned account (base or geographic area), ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets, and increasing fair market share versus competitor set.
- Responsible for prospecting new accounts.
- Responsible for all segments of assigned geographical markets, which may include, but not be exclusively limited to European markets.
- Conduct site inspections.
- Adhere to the Corporate SOP’s.
- Follow up on tentative bookings in the assigned markets.
- Detailed knowledge of competitor set.
- Detailed knowledge of all services provided by the Hotel and all relevant facts and figures of the hotel.
- Responsible for timely contracting from the client base responsible for.
- SMART contracting to ensure optimum yielding during annual rate negotiations.
- Attend trade shows, sales blitz, workshops, etc. in the assigned markets.
Competencies
- 3 5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing.
- Fluency in English Written and Spoken.
- Additional languages is a strong asset.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Intermediate IT skills in Excel and Word.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
