Site Supervision and Coordination
- Supervise drainage and infrastructure works in line with approved drawings, specifications, QCS requirements, and PWA/Ashghal standards.
- Act as the Engineer's site representative and coordinate with the Contractor, Consultant, Client, and stakeholders.
- Review foul sewer, stormwater drainage, manholes, chambers, and associated utility works.
- Coordinate with utility authorities on existing and proposed drainage and utility networks.
Technical and Quality Control
- Review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and technical submissions.
- Ensure construction follows approved IFC drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Monitor contractor progress, resources, workmanship, and compliance with the construction programme.
- Monitor NCRs, defects, snags, and corrective actions through close-out.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate timely resolution with design and project teams.
Inspections and Handover
- Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure completed works meet required quality standards before approval and handover.
- Provide technical guidance to site engineers and inspectors and support the Resident Engineer in project delivery.
HSE and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and support safe working practices on site.
- Prepare and review daily or weekly progress reports, site records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
- Participate in progress, technical, coordination, and site inspection meetings.
Requirements
- 10-16 years of experience, as stated in the source listing.
- Experience supervising drainage and infrastructure works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, QCS requirements, and PWA/Ashghal standards.
- Ability to review shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and technical submissions.
- Ability to monitor construction quality, progress, resources, workmanship, and compliance with approved programmes.
- Ability to coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients, utility authorities, and other stakeholders.
