Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Recreation Manager to support and oversee recreational operations within a prestigious 5 star luxury property in Dubai.
  • This role is ideal for a proactive hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences across Kids Club, Gym, and Pool facilities.
  • The position will directly report to the Assistant Director of Club.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and execution of daily recreation operations, including Kids Club, gym, and pool areas
  • Ensure consistent delivery of luxury service standards across all recreational facilities
  • Train, mentor, and develop the recreation team to maintain high performance and engagement
  • Oversee scheduling, team allocation, and operational efficiency within all recreation outlets
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Drive guest satisfaction and engagement through innovative recreational activities and programs
  • Monitor facility conditions, coordinating maintenance and upkeep where required
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Assist in planning and executing events, seasonal activities, and guest experiences
  • Support revenue opportunities through program development and guest participation initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in recreation, leisure, or hospitality operations, with supervisory exposure
  • Strong understanding of Kids Club, gym, and pool operations within a luxury hospitality environment
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and manage multicultural teams
  • Strong organizational and operational management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Energetic, approachable, and guest service oriented personality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multicultural environment
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
