About the Role

- Develop the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements, and monitor progress to meet schedule and budget requirements
- Assist in day to day project management activities, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards
- Manage and control all project related communications to ensure transparency, accuracy, and timely information flow across stakeholders
- Identify and document changes in scope
- Assist in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project buy outs, monitoring progress to maintain those procurements
- Interface with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate the bid process
- Coordinate and oversee all project deliverables, ensuring timely submission and adherence to contractual and technical requirements
- Coordinate the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project with other Project Engineers
- Coordinate the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the company
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study
- Assist in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project
- Ensure client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5 10 years of related field engineering experience or a broad general engineering background
- Thorough knowledge of current technology and ability to select and apply appropriate engineering software
- Knowledge and understanding of project execution responsibilities and impact
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other engineering related software tools
- Demonstrated potential to perform in a lead capacity, with ability to guide and coordinate teams effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of sustainability and environmental impact requirements in infrastructure projects
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proactive and solution oriented mindset
- Familiarity with digital tools like BIM (Building Information Modeling)
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices applicable to infrastructure planning and execution
