Academic and Professional Qualifications

• M.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic M.Sc. Nursing with Medical-Surgical Nursing specialization from a recognized institution is essential.
• B.Sc. Nursing qualification from a recognized institution is required.
• Valid State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council registration is required, as applicable.
• Teaching and clinical experience must meet applicable regulatory and university norms.
• Associate Professor and Professor applicants must meet the requirements for their respective designations.
• A Ph.D. in Nursing is an added advantage for senior academic positions.

Desired Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Medical-Surgical Nursing, adult health nursing, critical care, emergency care, and evidence-based practice.
• Strong classroom teaching, clinical supervision, academic planning, and assessment abilities.
• Ability to mentor and guide nursing students and work with faculty, clinical staff, and administration.
• Research orientation, scholarly publication interest, documentation ability, leadership, teamwork, and professional ethics.

Work Location

• The position is based at Harsha College of Nursing, Harsha Institutions, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
• Work location is in person.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary is described as commensurate with qualification, experience, designation, and institutional norms.
