Responsibilities
- Prepare resource allocation with the operations supervisor based on demand to meet objectives and optimize resources.
- Prepare and deliver catering equipment in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Delegate and supervise team members preparing, dispatching, and loading catering items.
- Ensure preparation, dispatch, and loading processes are timely and meet safety and quality standards.
- Support team training by providing guidance, resolving performance or operational issues, and promoting safety and efficiency.
- Lead behaviour-based safety management checks to minimize food safety hazards and comply with department procedures and regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, track usage, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain product and equipment availability.
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose plans to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience.
Education and Experience
- Diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
- Three years of experience in flight operations, food packing, logistics, or a related function.
- Experience in airline catering and/or the food industry is preferred.
- Two years of exposure in a team leader capacity is preferred.
Skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of operations, including resource allocation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and prioritization skills for tight deadlines.
