Operations Responsibilities
- Prepare resource allocations with the operations supervisor based on demand, agreed objectives, and resource optimization.
- Prepare and deliver catering equipment in a timely manner with relevant stakeholders.
- Delegate and supervise preparation, dispatch, and loading of catering items to meet safety, quality, and timing standards.
- Support team members with training, guidance, and resolution of performance or operational issues.
Safety and Compliance
- Lead behaviour-based safety management checks to minimize food safety hazards and comply with departmental SOPs and regulations.
Inventory and Improvement
- Monitor stock levels and usage and coordinate with stakeholders to keep products and equipment available for passenger demand while minimizing waste and costs.
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose plans to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience.
Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
- Three years of work experience is required.
- Experience in flight operations, food packing, or logistics is preferred, particularly in airline catering or the food industry.
- Two years of exposure to a team leader capacity is preferred.
Skills
- Strong operations and resource allocation knowledge is required.
