Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality, regulatory, and company standards, including incident due diligence and escalation of critical issues.
- Manage shift operations, resources, team deployment, briefings, handovers, KPIs, SLAs, precision time schedules, and on-time performance for airline catering services.
- Develop shift teams through performance management, coaching, mentoring, capability-gap resolution, and recognition of high performance.
- Coordinate with airline customers, internal teams, external stakeholders, and the Operations Control Centre to resolve concerns and maintain service continuity.
- Implement contingency measures and support Business Continuity Management System testing during disruptions.
- Drive Lean initiatives, operational optimization, technology adoption, and service improvement.
- Monitor performance and resource variances, escalate deviations, implement corrective actions, and promote safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum six years of experience leading shifts within large-scale logistics, catering, or airside operations.
- Experience leading operational efficiency initiatives and service improvement programmes.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, decision-making, relationship-building, and continuous-improvement capabilities.
