Job Overview
Assistant Officer - Store Control role involves leading a team in warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer store operations and organize receipts, issues, inspections, accounting, and safe storage of materials at the warehouse
- Monitor the workload of store staff and plan the efficient utilization of available resources and storage space
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory in the warehouse to minimize material loss, damage, pilferage, or deterioration
- Maintain inspection of incoming materials to ensure only the material as per required quality and specification is accepted
- Highlight shortage of materials to the supervisor to initiate further necessary actions and coordinate with relevant departments on delivery status
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in a relevant area
- Good command of spoken and written English
Minimum Experience
- 2-3 years as a Senior Store man
Skills
- Good knowledge of Computer systems such as SAP and MS Windows for Warehouse system
