Role Overview
The Assistant Manager - Stewarding will assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International corporate strategies and brand standards.
The role supports employee, guest, and owner expectations through effective stewardship of department operations.
The position assists the Stewarding Manager with an efficient and productive cost centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized and clean back-of-house area for food and beverage operations.
- Provide kitchens, outlets, and banquets with clean operating equipment based on expected business levels.
- Assist the Stewarding Manager in managing the department efficiently and productively.
Qualifications
- A relevant degree, apprenticeship, or diploma in hospitality or restaurant management is desirable.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager in food and beverage service, kitchen, or stewarding operations.
- Alternatively, at least 2 years of experience as a Team Leader in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards.
