About the Role

- Develop and implement the overall QHSE & Technical Excellence strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Establish the Technical Excellence Centre as a core function to support operational performance and reliability.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including MTBC, quality, safety performance, and defect Free Handover.
- Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Ensure alignment with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Oversee implementation of QHSE policies, procedures, and compliance requirements across all projects.
- Provide technical support (on site and remote/online) to maintenance and installation teams.
- Ensure quality control inspections and testing are completed prior to handover to clients.
- Support operations in troubleshooting, fault analysis, and resolving complex technical issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and lead actions to reduce MTBC and recurring breakdowns.
- Ensure closure of NCRs and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead and manage the QHSE Engineers, QA/QC Inspectors, and Technical Specialists/Trainers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical engineering
- NEBOSH Certification
- Minimum 10+ years in elevator/escalator industry or similar
- Strong experience in QHSE, quality control, and technical operations
