About the Role
A confidential company in Dubai seeks an Assistant Production Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for luxury retail furniture and fit-out projects. The role requires strong leadership, production planning, quality control, and cost management skills to deliver premium products on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and control daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with project delivery timelines
- Lead and manage a workforce of 300+ employees across multiple departments including Joinery, Metal, CNC, Paint, Polishing, Electricals, Acrylic, Printing and Finishing Assembly
- Ensure all products meet approved samples, drawings, and luxury retail brand quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Lead value engineering initiatives to optimize design, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Control production costs, material wastage, overtime, and overheads
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies and safe working practices
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production, manpower, and performance reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing
- Experience in luxury retail furniture manufacturing or high end joinery
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- In depth knowledge of luxury furniture, joinery, upholstery, metal works, and high end finishes
- Expertise in retail fit out project execution
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / PMP are an added advantage

Job Summary
- This production role is responsible for leading and controlling end to end manufacturing operations for luxury retail furniture and fit out projects.
- The role demands strong leadership, strategic production planning, quality excellence, cost control, and cross functional coordination to deliver premium products on time, within budget, and in line with international luxury brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and control daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with project delivery timelines.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and factory capacity.
- Manage multiple high value retail projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, Procurement, Design, and Project teams.
- Lead and manage a workforce of 300+ employees across multiple departments including Joinery, Metal, CNC, Paint, Polishing, Electricals, Acrylic, Printing and Finishing Assembly.
- Set departmental targets, monitor productivity, and drive performance improvements.
- Identify manpower requirements and support recruitment, training, and skill development.
- Maintain discipline, motivation, and strong shop floor leadership culture.
- Ensure all products meet approved samples, drawings, and luxury retail brand quality standards.
- Implement and monitor robust QA/QC systems at each stage of production.
- Minimize rework, rejection, and customer complaints through proactive quality control.
- Coordinate mock ups, first article inspections, and client approvals.
