Role Overview
Assistant Manager role supporting quantitative strategies and data initiatives within financial operations.
The team supports trade compression, initial margin, and SA-CCR optimization initiatives through automation, reporting, and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Structure process flows and automate them using Python scripts.
- Design technical solutions, build prototypes, and maintain them through technology implementation.
- Identify infrastructure issues and control gaps and develop solutions to improve process efficiency and data integrity.
- Coordinate with desk, technology, and business partners on project delivery.
- Apply project management practices including status reporting and issue tracking.
Requirements
- B.Tech. or B.E. degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college is required.
- The role description cites 2 to 5 years of technology experience in a financial institution.
- The role profile also cites 60 to 84 months of work experience and 18 to 24 months of team leadership experience.
- Strong technical skills with MS Office, SQL, Python, and VBA are required.
- Experience with code implementation, test case writing, and test cycles is required.
Preferred Skills
- A master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Financial Quantitative Analysis is preferred.
- Coding or testing certifications are preferred.
- Experience with large datasets and coding standards is preferred.
