Job Description
The Assistant Manager owns operations performance across the bicycle and EV fleet and tMart operations.
The role operates independently, drives compliance, and works with cross-functional teams to improve fleet performance.
Responsibilities
- Own fleet operational strategy, performance, fleet mix optimization, and roadmap development.
- Analyze fleet metrics and translate data into leadership updates and recommendations.
- Visit tMarts regularly, enforce rider protocols, and manage action plans for violations.
- Solve recurring operational challenges and improve SOPs through automation and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with Performance, 3PL, and Rider Lifecycle teams on systemic issues.
- Build a high-performing city operations team with clear ownership and accountability.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of operations experience, ideally in last-mile delivery, e-commerce, or mobility technology.
- Experience managing on-ground teams and working across functions.
Skills and Competencies
- Analytical, data-driven decision-making and structured communication are required.
- The role requires field presence, independent judgment, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Beginner to intermediate proficiency with AI tools, including Claude, is required.
