Position Summary

  • The Assistant HR Manager supports and manages HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, welfare, payroll coordination, training, and HR compliance.
  • Works closely with factory, warehouse, and office teams to ensure smooth HR processes aligned with business needs.
  • Acts as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring a high performance work culture.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • 25% – Recruitment & Manpower Planning: Manage end to end recruitment for factory, office, sales, and support positions; coordinate with department heads; conduct screening, interviews, reference checks, and offer negotiations; prepare job descriptions; maintain talent pipelines.
  • 20% – Onboarding, Induction & HR Operations: Manage joining formalities and employee file creation; conduct HR induction; ensure proper documentation of passports, Emirates ID, certificates, contracts; coordinate with PRO for visa processing.
  • 10% – Performance Management & Training: Support KPI creation and performance appraisal cycles; coordinate performance reviews; maintain training calendars and attendance records.
  • 15% – Employee Relations & Welfare: Support resolution of employee queries, conflicts, or disciplinary matters; conduct counselling sessions; manage employee engagement activities and welfare initiatives; support grievance handling.
  • 20% – Attendance, Payroll & HR Compliance: Ensure accurate attendance tracking; verify overtime, leave applications, and deductions; prepare monthly payroll inputs; ensure compliance with UAE labour law and DMCC requirements.
  • 10% – HR Reporting, Documentation & Administration: Maintain HR MIS dashboards, recruitment trackers, manpower reports, and attendance summaries; ensure employee files are audit ready; prepare monthly HR reports; support internal audits.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Education: Bachelor's in HRM, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field; Master's in HRM (preferred).
  • Licenses / Certifications: CIPD Level 3/5 (advantage); HR analytics or HR operations training (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of UAE labour law & HR compliance; experience with HRMS/HRIS systems; strong understanding of recruitment, performance management, and employee life cycle; ability to work with factory based manpower.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; high emotional intelligence and professionalism; problem solving and conflict resolution capability; ability to multitask in a fast paced work environment.
