Assistant Manager - HR (Generalist) – Arabic Speaker

Location Abu Dhabi, UAE

Reporting To HR Manager / Group HR Director

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Assistant HR Manager – Generalist (Arabic Speaker) to support and manage end-to-end HR operations across multiple business units within a Group/Holding Company structure.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience handling HR functions in diversified organizations, ensuring compliance, employee engagement, talent acquisition support, performance management, policy implementation, and HR operations.

The role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills, strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, and the ability to work closely with senior management across different entities.

Hr Operations & Administration

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple group companies/entities
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and internal HR policies
  • Handle employee lifecycle management including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and documentation
  • Support payroll inputs, leave management, attendance monitoring, and employee benefits administration
  • Coordinate visa, labour card, Emirates ID, and employee documentation processes in coordination with PRO/Admin teams

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Support manpower planning and recruitment activities across business units
  • Coordinate sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer management
  • Work closely with department heads to fulfill hiring requirements efficiently
  • Ensure proper onboarding and induction for new employees

Employee Relations

  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, warning letters, and HR investigations
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture improvements
  • Support employee welfare programs and retention strategies

Performance Management

  • Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems across the group
  • Monitor probation reviews, annual appraisals, and development plans
  • Support succession planning and talent development initiatives

Policies, Compliance & Reporting

  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks
  • Ensure HR practices align with group governance standards
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and management presentations
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews
