Hiring an Assistant Finance Manager focused on reporting and budgeting.
The role is based in Dubai, UAE, within the oil and gas industry.
Key requirements
- A CA, CPA, CFA, degree in International Business, or an equivalent qualification is required.
- CA, CPA, or CFA holders need at least five years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- International Business or equivalent degree holders need at least eight years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
- Mandatory oil and gas experience in the UAE or wider Middle East region.
- Big Four or equivalent accounting or consulting experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and Advanced Excel is required.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and applicable financial regulations is required.
- Experience coordinating internal and external audits is required.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance-analysis experience is required.
- Experience in financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing, and management reporting is required.
- Fluent Chinese and English communication skills are required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and support financial reporting, including management reporting.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis and communicate financial performance insights.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Apply IFRS and applicable financial regulations in finance processes and reporting.
- Use SAP and Advanced Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Manage communication with stakeholders in Chinese and English.
