About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily housekeeping operations and maintain consistent brand and service standards.
• Supervise and inspect guest rooms, apartments, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Coordinate manpower planning, duty rosters, and team deployment based on occupancy and operational needs.
• Supervise, coach, and develop housekeeping team members.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering for room readiness and maintenance resolution.
• Respond to guest requests, feedback, and housekeeping concerns.
• Monitor linen, uniforms, supplies, cleaning materials, equipment, inventory, and cost control.
• Support budgeting, productivity monitoring, cost-saving, deep-cleaning, preventive maintenance, and room inspection programs.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, health and safety, hygiene, and security requirements.
• Promote sustainability and responsible use of water, energy, chemicals, and guest supplies.
• Support team performance, training, engagement, and departmental administration.
• Assume responsibility for the department when the Executive Housekeeper is absent.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in an upscale or luxury hotel environment.
• Strong leadership, team management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping operations, room inspections, inventory, and cost control.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent command of English is required; additional languages and UAE or Middle East hospitality experience are advantageous.
