Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Assistant Director of Sales to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will partner with the Director of Sales to drive revenue growth, expand our client base, and establish our organization as a market leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies.
- Lead and mentor sales team members, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Identify emerging business trends, market opportunities, and competitive insights.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts while actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities.
- Develop and present detailed sales proposals and action plans on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Oversee pricing strategies and budget allocation in collaboration with the revenue management team.
- Organize and execute strategic sales trips and client familiarization events.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with government authorities, tourism boards, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, revenue targets, and key performance indicators.
- Participate actively in industry forums, trade shows, and business functions.
- Oversee online distribution channels and manage relationships with third party partners and online travel agencies.
- Support the events and operations teams by identifying synergies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Sales, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales management or assistant director capacity, or minimum 3 years of progressive experience in sales, account management, or business development.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budget management, and revenue forecasting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem solving capabilities.
