Overview

  • The Assistant Brand Manager, Food supports planning and execution of brand strategies with emphasis on project management for product innovations and on ground brand experiences.
  • Responsible for end to end management of marketing budgets (A&C), coordination of complex product lifecycles including artwork and nutritional updates, and execution of high visibility consumer activations.

How Will You Make an Impact?

  • End to End Project Tracking: Manage timelines for NPD and PPA to ensure on time launches.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as central liaison between R&D, Procurement, and Sales to drive product approvals and stage gate milestones.
  • Artwork Flow: Oversee entire artwork approval process, ensuring designs align with brand guidelines and project deadlines.
  • Financial Reporting: Track and report on monthly A&C expenditures to ensure spend is within approved yearly budget.
  • Process Follow ups: Manage end to end PO process, ensuring timely vendor payments and accrual accuracy.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage updates to packaging artwork for nutritional facts, ingredient lists, and legal claims.
  • Portfolio Maintenance: Ensure all current SKUs reflect updated branding and maintain organized digital asset library.
  • Quality Liaison: Work closely with QA/R&D to ensure packaging changes meet food safety and local regulatory standards.
  • Event Planning: Lead execution of brand events by sharing creative briefs and managing on site requirements.

Education and Experience

  • Master's / Bachelor's in Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG or Food & Beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of marketing mix, product development, competitor assessment, and financial management.
  • Practical knowledge of the 4Ps of marketing, along with strong financial literacy to manage A&C budgets and conduct PPA analysis.
