Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager Brand Development supports the identification, evaluation, and execution of growth opportunities across the organization’s restaurant portfolio.
The role contributes to expansion strategies through data-driven insights, financial evaluation, and cross-functional coordination to support new builds, remodels, and strategic initiatives.
The role ensures development projects are commercially viable, aligned with operational requirements, and delivered efficiently, while maintaining effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and franchisor partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution, and tracking of development projects across multiple brands, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
- Coordinate with Real Estate, Finance, Operations, and Legal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolution to maintain delivery timelines.
- Analyze performance data, market trends, and competitor activity to support development decisions.
- Develop insights to guide site selection, pipeline prioritization, and expansion planning.
- Translate data into clear recommendations and business cases for stakeholders.
- Support financial evaluation, including feasibility analysis and investment assessment for development projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support deal structuring and contract alignment.
- Act as a central coordination point to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
- Track post-launch performance of new sites and evaluate outcomes against business cases.
- Recommend improvements to enhance performance and inform future development strategies.
- Act as a key point of contact with franchisors to support development initiatives and ensure alignment with brand standards.
- Maintain relationships with franchisor partners and support issue resolution where required.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to track KPIs and support leadership decision-making.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
- 4–6 years of experience in brand development, corporate strategy, commercial finance, or related roles within Food & Beverage, Retail, or Hospitality.
- Experience in financial analysis, including P&L understanding and investment evaluation.
- Exposure to data analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments and supporting project delivery.
- Experience in development, franchising, or real estate feasibility is advantageous.
