Faculty Position
United Arab Emirates University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in Analytical Chemistry within the Department of Chemistry, College of Science.
The successful candidate will support teaching excellence, student mentorship, research innovation, and an active externally funded research program.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or a closely related field.
- At least two years of teaching experience in higher education.
- Strong research publication record in Scopus-indexed and Q1 journals.
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis tools and software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate analytical chemistry and instrumental analysis courses.
- Mentor graduate students in research projects and thesis supervision.
- Develop and revise courses integrating computational and experimental approaches.
- Provide tutoring, academic counseling, and coursework assessment.
- Collaborate with external researchers and support departmental research activities.
- Contribute to departmental, college, and university service.
