Responsibilities
- Assist in day to day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records of construction project expenses and project wise cost allocation
- Support in project costing analysis, budget monitoring, and expense tracking
- Process supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, petty cash management, and payment vouchers
- Monitor and record construction material purchases, inventory movements, and material cost tracking
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, expense statements, and management reports
- Support payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and final settlement calculations
- Perform supplier reconciliation and follow up on outstanding payments
- Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and UAE financial regulations
- Support VAT documentation and accounting compliance when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Minimum 1 year of UAE experience in Building Construction Company (Mandatory)
- Prior construction field accounting experience is compulsory
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting processes and project costing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced level)
- Experience in accounting software / ERP systems

Job Summary
- DNB Construction LLC is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant with minimum 1 year of UAE experience in the building construction industry.
- The ideal candidate must have hands on experience in construction accounting, project costing, supplier and subcontractor payments, material accounting, and day to day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day to day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate records of construction project expenses and project wise cost allocation.
- Support in project costing analysis, budget monitoring, and expense tracking for ongoing construction projects.
- Process supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, petty cash management, and payment vouchers.
- Monitor and record construction material purchases, inventory movements, and material cost tracking.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding purchase orders, supplier invoices, and material deliveries.
- Maintain records related to construction materials such as cement, steel, blocks, concrete, finishing materials, MEP materials, and site consumables.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, expense statements, and management reports.
- Support payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and final settlement calculations when required.
- Perform supplier reconciliation and follow up on outstanding payments and documentation.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents, invoices, LPOs, contracts, and project related financial records.
- Assist senior management in budget tracking, cost control, and project profitability analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Minimum 1 year of UAE experience in Building Construction Company (Mandatory).
- Prior construction field accounting experience is compulsory.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting processes and project costing.
- Good understanding of construction materials and site procurement processes.
- Experience handling supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, purchase orders, and material cost tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced level) for reporting and reconciliation.
- Experience in accounting software / ERP systems (preferably ERPNext, Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Pay
- Up to AED 4,000.00 per month
