Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable, including verification and posting of supplier and utility invoices in the ERP system
- Maintain accounts payable records and ensure timely and accurate invoice booking
- Prepare and maintain fund flow statements for cash tracking and planning
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve variances
- Support month end closing with schedules, reconciliations, and documentation
- Maintain accurate records for financial reporting and audit requirements
- Manage utility accounting activities, including downloading, booking, and tracking utility bills
- Maintain utility account records across the property portfolio
- Coordinate with internal teams and external utility providers for connections, disconnections, account updates, and security deposit refunds
- Support compliance with internal finance policies and UAE accounting standards
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of all accounting records
- Support audit requests and provide required financial data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate in the UAE
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Hands on experience with ERP systems
- Strong Excel skills for reporting and reconciliations
- Experience in vendor management and invoice processing
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in financial records
- Ability to manage tasks within deadlines and work under pressure
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA is an advantage
