Key Responsibilities
- Sales Ledger and Credit Control
- Bank Reconciliations
- Process invoice payments
- Reconcile company credit card payments
- Purchase Ledger, including invoices and expenses
- Process monthly payroll and manage pension scheme
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Liaise with external bookkeepers and auditors
- Assist with quarters/annual returns including VAT, National Statistics and other ad-hoc
- Completing month-end, postings & variance analysis
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 2+ years of Sales & Purchase ledger experience
- AAT Qualified or Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent (Certificate in Business Accounting/Applied Knowledge completed).
- Excellent numeracy and Google Sheets/Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
- The desire to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
- (Optional) Experience using Xero, Paycaptain & Moss
