About the Role

Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high quality art lessons in accordance with the school curriculum
- Teach a range of artistic disciplines including drawing, painting, sculpture, design, printmaking, and digital art
- Foster creativity, self expression, and artistic confidence among students
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement
- Organize and maintain art materials, equipment, and classroom resources
- Ensure a safe and productive learning environment
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
- Display and celebrate student artwork through exhibitions, competitions, and school events
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Visual Arts, Design, or related field
- Teaching qualification/certification (PGCE, QTS, State Teaching License, or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in art education
- Strong knowledge of art techniques, materials, and art history
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in digital art tools and design software is an advantage

Qualifications & Requirements
