About the Role

Architecture Inspector within the Construction Supervision Department, reporting to the Resident Engineer and Section Engineers.

Inspect road and traffic construction projects for compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, land boundaries, and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect projects during and after construction for structural quality, safety, and conformance to specifications and codes.
  • Inspect facilities and installations for environmental impact and conformity with design.
  • Monitor materials, construction techniques, plumbing, wiring, equipment, and appliances for regulatory compliance.
  • Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation against building plans and codes.
  • Maintain daily inspection logs and photographic records.
  • Attend off-site and international inspections for materials, samples, mock-ups, and testing when required.
  • Inspect delivered materials and verify they are stored and protected according to requirements.
  • Coordinate survey control point information with the construction team.
  • Inspect sites for adherence to approved shop drawings and snag lists.
  • Ensure accurate construction information and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction or architectural inspection, quality control, or site supervision.
  • Working knowledge of architectural and construction codes, standards, and material specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Basic proficiency in surveying tools, equipment, and measurement techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination.
  • Proficiency in relevant documentation and reporting software, such as MS Office; site inspection or QA/QC software familiarity is a plus.
