Role Overview
Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of architectural elements, including walls, drywall, doors, windows, and other finishes to ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and project specifications.
Perform rigorous testing of materials and construction methods to verify quality and structural integrity.
Assess the need for field changes and communicate recommendations to project managers and architects.
Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve change orders efficiently and effectively.
Execute comprehensive final site inspections, ensuring all architectural elements meet required standards and project goals.
Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and photographic documentation.
Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure on-site implementation aligns with design intent.
Monitor construction progress and identify potential issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Verify compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, as well as ADA requirements.
Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure adherence to OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
Participate in project meetings to provide updates on inspection findings and discuss potential solutions to identified issues.
Stay current with industry trends, new building materials, and evolving construction techniques to maintain expertise in the field.
Mentor and train junior inspectors, sharing knowledge and best practices in architectural inspection.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all inspections, tests, and communications related to each project.
Collaborate with other specialized inspectors (e.g., electrical, plumbing) to ensure comprehensive quality control across all aspects of construction.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar or equivalent role.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and trade practices.
