Role Overview

Inspection and Site Duties

• Inspect site conditions before construction activities begin and verify compatibility with the designed permanent works.
• Check for obstructions and document existing property conditions that construction work might damage.
• Review delivered materials for conformance with approved samples, materials, and equipment.
• Check material storage arrangements and report discrepancies.
• Inspect temporary and permanent works for compliance with contract documents, approved shop drawings, and submittals.
• Prepare daily logs and reports and maintain records of inspections, tests, and work executed.
• Observe site safety practices and work progress and report concerns.
• Assist with completed-work inspections and help prepare punch lists.
• Monitor start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover of the works.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals related to architectural and interior design works.
• Perform other duties assigned by the direct manager.

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in a similar or equivalent position is required.
• A bachelor's degree in architecture, architectural engineering, or a relevant discipline is required.
• Experience reviewing drawings related to interior design works and performing site inspections is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and trade practices is required.
• Experience with luxury apartment and hotel projects is required.

Compensation

• The salary is AED 5,000 to AED 8,000 per month.

Workplace

• The work location is in person.
