Responsibilities
- Lead architectural supervision activities for data center construction projects
- Monitor architectural finishes, building envelope, façade systems, and external works for quality and compliance
- Review and inspect fire and life safety installations for conformity with design intent, codes, and Civil Defense requirements
- Verify proper implementation of fire rated walls, compartmentation systems, fire stopping materials, penetration sealing, and smoke containment measures
- Review and monitor escape routes, emergency exits, egress provisions, and occupant safety requirements
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, fire protection specialists, contractors, and authorities
- Interface with Civil Defense and relevant authorities for inspections, approvals, testing, and certification
- Review contractor submittals, material approvals, shop drawings, and method statements
- Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and compliance reviews
- Support testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and readiness assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering, Fire Engineering or equivalent
- UPDA/MMUP Grade A certification
- 10+ years of experience in architectural supervision and fire/life safety coordination
- Data Center experience (at least 1 project delivered in the last 5 years) preferred
- Experience with compartmentation, fire stopping, escape routes, Civil Defence interfaces, facade/envelope coordination

Job Description Overview
- Seeking an experienced Senior Architectural & Fire Life Safety Engineer with 10+ years of experience in architectural supervision, fire and life safety compliance, and multidisciplinary coordination on large scale, mission critical developments.
Your role
- Lead architectural supervision activities for data center construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor architectural finishes, building envelope, façade systems, and external works to ensure quality and compliance standards are achieved.
- Review and inspect fire and life safety installations to ensure conformity with design intent, applicable codes, and Civil Defense requirements.
- Verify proper implementation of fire rated walls, compartmentation systems, fire stopping materials, penetration sealing, and smoke containment measures.
- Review and monitor escape routes, emergency exits, egress provisions, and occupant safety requirements throughout construction.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, fire protection specialists, contractors, and authorities to resolve design and site related issues.
- Interface with Civil Defense and relevant authorities for inspections, approvals, testing, and certification requirements.
- Review contractor submittals, material approvals, shop drawings, and method statements related to architectural and fire safety works.
- Monitor façade and building envelope installations to ensure performance, constructability, and compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and compliance reviews, identifying non conformities and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure coordination between architectural, structural, MEP, and fire protection systems to avoid clashes and interface issues.
- Support testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and readiness assessments related to fire and life safety systems.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering, Fire Engineering or equivalent. UPDA/MMUP Grade A. Fire/life safety & QCDD related experience.
- Data Center Experience [at least 1 project is delivered in the last 5 years] is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience.
- Architectural supervision, fire/life safety coordination, compartmentation, fire stopping, escape routes, Civil Défense interfaces, facade/envelope coordination and compliance review for complex buildings or data centres.
