Role Description
The Senior Accountant will manage daily accounting operations and support financial reporting, close processes, compliance, and financial controls.
This is a contract, on-site role based in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and complete account reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Monitor cash flow, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and analyze financial data for management insights.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, support audits, and improve financial controls and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and deadline-management skills.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is an advantage.
- Previous Senior Accountant or similar experience, preferably within the region.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and commitment to high ethical standards.
