About the Role
Evaluate and improve AI systems so they understand, generate, and communicate in Arabic with accuracy, cultural nuance, and natural flow.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role; no prior AI background is required.
The engagement is hourly with a commitment of 10–40 hours per week.
What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated Arabic translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness.
- Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, and cultural issues.
- Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Arabic.
- Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Who You Are
- Native or near-native fluency in Arabic.
- Strong written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Solid command of Modern Standard Arabic with awareness of regional usage.
- Comfort evaluating written language quality across diverse content types.
- Detail-oriented, consistent, and self-motivated.
- No prior AI experience is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics.
- Familiarity with AI tools or language evaluation workflows.
- Knowledge of Arabic dialects across Gulf, Levantine, Egyptian, and Maghrebi regions.
- Academic or professional background in Arabic language, literature, or communication.
Work Arrangement
- Fully remote and flexible, with work performed when and where it suits the contractor.
- The role provides freelance autonomy within a meaningful, task-based structure.
Engagement Outlook
