Job Purpose
- To teach and educate students according to their educational needs, abilities and attainment potential, encouraging each student to reach their academic potential through enthusiastic and personalised teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enrich expertise in the subject area.
- Develop lesson plans ensuring attainment of learning standards.
- Coordinate lesson plans with other teachers for interdisciplinary reinforcement.
- Provide direct and indirect instruction.
- Plan long and short term addressing individual student needs.
- Prepare students for all required assessments.
- Evaluate students' progress.
- Prepare quarterly individual student achievement reports for parents.
- Provide an inviting, exciting, innovative learning environment.
- Engage in effective and appropriate classroom management.
- Accept and incorporate feedback from administrative staff.
- Serve as an advisor to students, including organizing advisory groups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (QFE Level 7) in a related field, properly attested and UAE equivalency certified.
- Recognized teaching qualification such as Teaching diploma, PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent licensure.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
