Role Description
We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to manage end-to-end functional and technical support for our bank's core digital channels, including mobile, retail, corporate, and branch applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support & Ticketing: Manage BAU emails, analyze and resolve Service Requests (SRs) and incidents within strict SLA/compliance standards.
- Monitoring & RCA: Track error logs and health metrics using AppDynamics (APM); execute preliminary Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring issues.
- Deployments & Infrastructure: Support weekend deployments, release rollouts, patch management, database upgrades, and Disaster Recovery (DR) drills.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with dev, QA, infra, and business teams during Agile sprints and stand-ups to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Stack: Basic Oracle SQL & MySQL; working knowledge of Linux OS; basic understanding of Java, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Tools & Process: AppDynamics (or similar APM tools); familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, JIRA, or Remedy).
- Flexibility: Strong problem-solving skills; willingness to support weekend deployments and DR activities.
- Experience in Banking/FinTech, microservices, and omni-channel API integrations.
