Application Support Engineer - Swing Shift

Essential Duties

• Application Monitoring & Incident Support
• · Monitor application health and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
• · Respond to and log incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
• · Perform basic incident triage and gather relevant logs and system information for troubleshooting.
• · Escalate incidents to Senior Application Support Engineer or the Lead when necessary.
• · Ensure accurate documentation and status updates for all assigned tickets.
• Application Support & Technical Assistance
• · Assist in troubleshooting issues related to Java-based enterprise applications and integrations.
• · Review application logs and system alerts to identify potential system issues.
• · Support applications running on Linux environments and Oracle or other relational databases.
• · Assist senior team members in diagnosing application errors and system performance issues.
• · Participate in routine system health checks and monitoring activities.
• Release Support, Documentation & Learning
• · Assist in validating application functionality during application releases, upgrades, and maintenance windows.
• · Support documentation of troubleshooting procedures, operational steps, and knowledge base articles.
• · Participate in team knowledge sharing and training activities.
• · Follow established operational procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
