IT Quality Engineer - Day Shift

Essential Duties

• Execute manual functional, regression, and smoke tests to ensure application stability and requirement coverage.
• Create and maintain detailed test cases and test steps within X-ray based on business requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and update basic automated test scripts using Playwright under the guidance of senior team members.
• Participate in requirement grooming sessions to provide feedback on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and update project-related testing documentation in Confluence.
• Verify bug fixes and perform impact analysis for regression testing.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress and defect metrics during daily stand-ups.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education Qualifications and Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Previous Work Experience, including Leadership Experience
• 1–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related field.
• Technical / Domain Specific / Functional Experience and Knowledge
