Role overview
Provide application and platform support by identifying and resolving issues across critical business systems.
Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes platforms across Google Kubernetes Engine and Azure Kubernetes Service.
Support high availability, reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of containerized workloads.
Required qualifications
- At least 7.5 years of IT experience with strong hands-on GKE administration and production support experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Proficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine and Kubernetes administration.
- Experience with Argo CD, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Linux administration, and Kubernetes troubleshooting.
- Ability to work across 24/7/365 shifts and handle on-call rotations.
- Clear communication and ownership of issues through resolution are required.
Technical skills
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies.
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes networking, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, ingress controllers, load balancers, and storage.
- Knowledge of Helm, Kubernetes RBAC, secrets, and certificate management.
