Application Support Engineer

Role Overview

Implementation and Client Support

• Support deployment, UAT, security clearance, integration, data migration, user management, rights management, final deployment, and post-deployment monitoring.
• Provide UAT and product training to clients.
• Ensure trouble-free warranty and AMC support.
• Monitor implementation projects and conduct software health checks at client locations.
• Undertake proofs of concept at client locations with the Business Team.

Incident and Release Management

• Track and promptly close client-reported incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide timely resolution.
• Lead testing, release, and maintenance of pre-deployment software releases.
• Create test cases for Application Support Engineers.
• Support deployment of patches, security fixes, and periodic product upgrades.

Team and Relationship Management

• Lead Application Support Engineers in client relationship management after one year of service with the company.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Department Head.

Technical Qualifications

• A B.Sc., B.Sc. in IT, B.E., B.Tech., MCA, or another technical graduate qualification is required.
• In-depth knowledge of operating systems, SQL or Oracle databases, and hardware is required.
• Proficiency in deploying web-based applications is required.
• Sound software troubleshooting and diagnosis skills are required.
• Basic computer skills, including email writing, are required.

Additional Requirements

• Excellent analytical and on-the-spot problem-solving ability is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills are required.
• Readiness to travel for client-side implementation at least two to three times each month is required.
• Willingness to acquire in-depth functional knowledge of the company's product is required.

Notice Period

• The stated notice period is immediate to 15 days.

Workplace and Travel

• Work location is in person.
• Candidates should be willing to travel to client locations across the country, including Navi Mumbai areas such as Ghatkopar, Vashi, and Panvel.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay is ₹300,000–₹550,000 per year.
• Benefits include commuter assistance and internet reimbursement.
