About the Role
Apple is seeking an Account Manager for the Ukraine, CIS, and Kazakhstan region to grow business with channel partners, develop sales strategies, and manage relationships with distributors and retailers.

Responsibilities
- Grow the business with channel partners who distribute and resell Apple products in the region driving towards a sales target
- Establish and lead close working relationship with senior collaborators of distributors, retail partners & telco operators
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of market trends, retail channel and develop comprehensive account plans
- Understand the market and stores on a deep level, spending time in doors and sharing insights to management
- Act as a professional business personnel to develop and manage a reliable forecast
- Plan and agree with Channel Partners on quarterly sales, marketing and in store activities
- Work closely with cross functional teams on forecasts and influence product supply
- Analyse opportunities in relevant channels and develop strategies to address issues
- Implement marketing programs online & offline, as prescribed by Apple
- Work with the Apple training team to ensure that the team sales staffs are of the highest standard and quality
Requirements
- Experience in consultative selling and developing channel growth strategies with partners
- Years of experience as a Country Manager / Account Manager for a mobile device or HW company
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills to identify critical issues, evaluate options and provide recommendations
- Awareness of local channel structure, emerging trends and competitor’s activities in the market
- Strong business planning capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English, Kazakh and Russian
- Strong organisational skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Unwavering tenacity and ability to have great control over the channel
- Keen eye for detail and impeccable attention to detail
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting to senior level executives
- Willing to be in market on a monthly basis

Description
- Grow the business with channel partners who distribute and resell Apple products in the region driving towards a sales target.
- Establish and lead close working relationship with the senior collaborators of distributors, retail partners & telco operators to develop their sales efficiency and maximise the sales of Apple products to end users.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of market trends, retail channel and develop comprehensive account plans that both align with our partners’ strategies and expand Apple's footprint.
- Understand the market and stores on a deep level, spending time in doors and sharing insights to management.
- Act as a professional business personnel to develop and manage a reliable forecast and ensure the disciplined use of Apple sales forecasting tools and processes.
- Plan and agree with Channel Partners on quarterly sales, marketing and in store activities, quarterly/weekly sell in and sell through targets and hold regular performance and planning reviews with Channel Partners.
- Work closely with cross functional teams on forecasts and influence product supply to meet and exceed sales forecasts/targets.
- Analyse opportunities in relevant channels and be able to develop strategies to address issues of coverage or quality executions (or both).
- Implement marketing programs online & offline, as prescribed by Apple.
- Work with the Apple training team to ensure that the team sales staffs are of the highest standard and quality.

- The ideal candidate should have unwavering tenacity and demonstrate the ability to have great control over the channel.
- We are seeking a candidate with a keen eye for detail, who possesses impeccable attention to detail in all tasks.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting to senior level executives.
- The ideal candidate should be willing to be in market on a monthly basis.
Minimum Qualifications
- You have experience in consultative selling and developing channel growth strategies with partners. In your experience, you’ve balanced delivering on short term goals, while building sustainable value for customers and partners and demand for the future.
- You bring years of experience as a Country Manager / Account Manager for a mobile device or HW company. Relevant work experience in strategy consulting, financial institutions or business development is also highly relevant.
- Strong problem solving, analytical skills to identify critical issues, evaluate options and provide recommendations.
- Awareness of local channel structure, emerging trends and competitor’s activities in the market. Ability to create and capitalise on opportunities.
- Strong business planning capabilities. Ability to work within and design processes that lead to the development of innovative and commercially driven sales plans.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English, Kazakh and Russian is required.
