About the Role
Boeing Global Service is seeking an Apache Mechanical Technician (Avionics) to join the AH-64E Qatar Air Force Maintenance Augmentation Team at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. - Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions, authorized modifications and alignment of AH 64E weapons components
- Use common and precision measuring tools and alignment fixtures
- Handle AH 64E aircraft ammunitions, perform weapon system loading/unloading, arming and de arming
- Perform aircraft systems operational checks
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems test sets and diagnostic equipment
- Assist QAF in requisition and maintenance of Shop and Bench stock items
- Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks
- Provide OJT, coaching, and mentorship to QAF personnel
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with the AH/64 D/E aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician
- 3+ years of experience with Unit Level Logistics System Aviation (ULLS A(E)) or similar aviation maintenance management system
- Successfully completed and qualified by appropriate U.S. Government armed forces aircraft avionics/armament/fire control/ASE maintenance course or civilian equivalent training

Job Description
- Boeing Global Service is seeking an Apache Mechanical Technicians (Avionics) to join the AH 64E Qatar Air Force Maintenance Augmentation Team (MAT) located at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
Position Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance on the AH 64E electrical/avionics/armament/fire control/radar/visionics/ASE systems
- Diagnoses and repairs aircraft systems and components malfunctions
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions, authorized modifications and alignment of AH 64E weapons components
- Uses common measuring tools, precision measuring tools and alignment fixtures
- Handles AH 64E aircraft ammunitions, performs weapon system loading/unloading, arming and de arming
- Performs aircraft systems operational checks
- Test, troubleshoots, and repair aircraft systems test sets and diagnostic equipment
- Assist the QAF in the requisition and maintenance of Shop and Bench stock items
- Prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks
- Diagnoses and solves problems aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment
- Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and AGSE and PGSE
- Prepares aircraft maintenance forms and records
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with the AH/64 D/E aircraft Electrical/Avionics/Armament/Fire Control/Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Technician
- 3+ years of experience with Unit Level Logistics System Aviation (ULLS A(E)) or a similar aviation maintenance management system
- Successfully completed and be qualified by the appropriate U.S. Government armed forces aircraft avionics/armament/fire control/ASE maintenance course or civilian equivalent training
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years ULLS A(E) or a similar aviation maintenance management system
- Army Service School Instructor or civilian equivalent instructing experience
- Prior experience or qualified in another aviation maintenance field
- Prior experience working in the Southwest Asia/desert region
