About Your Role

  • As an Analyst/Senior Analyst, Real Estate Investments, you will collaborate with investment managers in the analysis of potential real estate transactions across all asset classes.
  • You will act as a lead in developing financial models, analyze cash flows and risks, and participate in due diligence and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with investment managers in analysis of potential real estate transactions across residential, office, retail, and industrial assets.
  • Act as a lead in developing financial models related to real estate investments (debt or equity).
  • Analyze cash flows, project returns, impact of assumptions, investment risks, operating budgets, financial statements, and partnership structures.
  • Participate in presenting investment opportunities at weekly Global Real Estate Committee meetings.
  • Participate in the due diligence process, summarizing and following up on external reports.
  • Participate in drafting administrative documents such as business plans and presentations to the Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate in active management of the Real Estate portfolio, including market research and monitoring.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong writing skills and interest in real estate investment.
  • Strong financial analytical skills.
  • Ability to build good relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail and presentation of information.
  • Outgoing self starter with high level of autonomy.
  • Proactivity, forward thinking, and drive for results.
  • Strong team player, organized and methodical.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Work ethics and professional integrity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or Real Estate.
  • M.Sc. in Finance, MBA, CA or CFA designation are assets.
