Role overview
The System Engineer is responsible for the safety, reliability, and cost analysis of assigned aircraft types, electrical systems, and avionics.
The role supports optimum availability and high reliability of Amiri Flight aircraft and provides engineering support to other technical areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform safety, reliability, and cost analyses for aircraft types, electrical systems, and avionics under responsibility.
- Recommend Service Bulletin and Airworthiness Requirement implementation to support continuous airworthiness.
- Find and evaluate product improvements, monitor reliability, and prioritize deferred defects.
- Revise ETOPS manuals and update CMP compliance information.
- Review technical publications and recommend actions for AARs, Service Bulletins, and Service Letters.
- Recommend retrofit programs, solve technical problems, and liaise with Amiri Flight layovers.
- Provide troubleshooting and aircraft-on-ground technical support and complete special projects.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, an equivalent technical apprenticeship, or a Part 66 License.
- Five years of experience as a Systems or Support Engineer in maintenance management and aviation IT systems.
