About the Role
Affirm is looking for a hands-on AI Solutions Engineer to build, deploy, and maintain AI-powered systems for the People function. You will own the full lifecycle of AI agents, APIs, and applications, working with stakeholders to turn business problems into production systems.

Responsibilities
- Build and ship AI agents, APIs, and applications on Affirm's internal platform (Snowpark Container Services / Quicksilver)
- Turn messy business requirements from People Operations stakeholders into production systems
- Navigate Affirm's security and data governance infrastructure to get AI systems running safely on people data
- Design reliability infrastructure for multi model LLM services
- Work directly with non technical stakeholders to scope problems and make architecture decisions
- Contribute to the team's shared Python codebase, dbt models, and Snowflake infrastructure
- Own what you build: diagnose and fix production issues
Requirements
- Software engineering foundation: built, deployed, and maintained production applications
- Understanding of version control (Git/GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, containerization
- Systems thinking and technical architecture skills
- Comfortable with Python
- Builder disposition: created something from nothing
- Ability to work across the technical business boundary

About The Role
- This is a hands on engineering role. You will build, deploy, and maintain AI powered systems that serve the People function and the broader employee base.
- You will work closely with partners across the People function who own domain expertise and stakeholder relationships.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship AI agents, APIs, and applications on Affirm's internal platform (Snowpark Container Services / Quicksilver).
- Turn messy business requirements from People Operations stakeholders into production systems.
- Navigate Affirm's existing security and data governance infrastructure to get AI systems running safely on people data.
- Design reliability infrastructure for multi model LLM services.
- Work directly with non technical stakeholders to scope problems, make architecture decisions, and give honest assessments.
- Contribute to the team's shared Python codebase, dbt models, and Snowflake infrastructure.
- Own what you build. When something breaks in production, you diagnose and fix it.

Pay and Benefits
- CAN base pay range per year: CAD 173,000 CAD 233,000.
