- Own the agent control layer: permissions, secrets, deployment boundaries, approval gate enforcement
- Harden the deploy pipeline: broken code can't deploy, prod gate can't be bypassed, live database can't drift out of band
- Build observability and auditability — every agent action that matters is traceable and reviewable
- Own rollback discipline and incident readiness
- Run a lightweight, stage appropriate security posture (least privilege scopes, secret rotation, dependency hygiene)
Requirements
- Real DevOps/SRE/platform security background: CI/CD, secrets management, cloud infra, observability, incident response
- Genuine understanding of the agentic threat model
- Pragmatic and stage aware: size controls to a pre scale startup
- Comfortable with stack: Next.js, Supabase (Postgres + RLS + Auth + Storage), OAuth, Stripe, Twilio, MCP based tooling

The Role
- You'll make our agentic operating system safe to scale — so agents can move fast without ever touching production, credentials, or sensitive data without the right control in place.
- You convert documented discipline into enforced guardrails.
What You'll Do
- Own the agent control layer: permissions, secrets, deployment boundaries (staging vs a hard production gate), approval gate enforcement.
- Harden the deploy pipeline: broken code can't deploy, the prod gate can't be bypassed, the live database can't drift out of band.
- Build observability and auditability — every agent action that matters is traceable and reviewable.
- Own rollback discipline and incident readiness.
- Run a lightweight, stage appropriate security posture (least privilege scopes, secret rotation, dependency hygiene) — no enterprise theater.
What We're Looking For
- Real DevOps/SRE/platform security background: CI/CD, secrets management, cloud infra, observability, incident response.
- You genuinely understand the agentic threat model — how autonomous agents differ from human operators in blast radius and tool abuse risk.
- Pragmatic and stage aware: you size controls to a pre scale startup and push back on premature complexity.
- Comfortable in our stack: Next.js (standalone behind nginx), Supabase (Postgres + RLS + Auth + Storage), OAuth, Stripe, Twilio, MCP based tooling.
Bonus
- You've secured LLM/agent systems or MCP servers before.
- Compliance literacy (SOC 2 / data handling) for our first enterprise prospects.
- You write the guardrails as code, not just recommend them.
Location & Team
- Remote, but preference for candidates based in New York, Sweden or Dubai for overlapping working hours.
- Small team, founder led, fast.
- This role starts fractional (~2 days/week) and converts to full time as we scale.
